Blue – A primary color on the color wheel & the color of water.

Yellow – A primary color on the color wheel, representing the sun.

It is only by mixing Yellow and Blue together that we get Green.

Green is a secondary color, the color of grass, trees and living plants.

Green represents life on earth. But without Blue, there would be no Green, either on the color wheel or on the earth.

Without water, there would be no life on earth.
To quote Buzz Aldrin, “Having left the water planet, with all that water brings to Earth  in terms of color and abundant life, the absence of water and atmosphere on the desolate surface of the Moon gives rise to a stark contrast.”  

The Earth is a Blue planet with 71% of the Earth’s surface covered by water.  So as much as we need to be Green and save our environment,    it is just as important to Be Blue and save our waters too.  Without water, without Blue, there will be no Green and no plant life to save.
